DJ Cubanito is a Latin remixer and producer based in Houston, Texas. He is currently rated # 60 (12-14-11) on the World DJ list in the "Open Format" category. Alex Carmenates is DJ Cubanito, a well known Latin DJ around the world, showcasing in clubs across the US, such as, The Church (Denver), South Beach (Houston), Score and Twist (Miami Beach), WetBar (Atlanta), Ibiza (Miami Beach), and many others in Europe, such as, Republika De Cuba (Romania), Kaufleuten (Zurich), La Isla (Stokholm), Avenue 1 (Guthemburg) Art Cafe (Madeira), El Mexicano (Funchal), Mexico, Canada, South America, and at the Caliente and Antillense Festivals held in Zurich, Switzerland and Hoogstrante, Belgium. I have two Dennon HS5500 which is like having 4 turntables since you can play 2 tracks from the same player along with a DJM-600-K PIONEER MIXER. aahhh You don't want to know!!!! but mostly my own home made mixes specially done for the party I do. I like to do a "show" of what people have requested ahead of time so I like to make a mix or two with extra effects and get rid of all the boring intros and outros that sometimes seem they go forever. I am a paralegal in the day time. I have been working there for 16 years and I ;also do hair in the evenings. I ;love cutting hair and doing "Glamour" make up. ; Also, I ;dj on the weekends mainly for "fundraiser". I ;like to help people that are suffering from Alzheimers since my dad was just diagnosed with it, I also do it for people with Cancer and Aids by donating my time and money. My dad was a musician all his life so I have the music in me but as I was growing up I loved to hear really high energy disco, and then tribal, techno, rave but I now enjoy the diva house music with a touch of tribal touch.
