His career began as a Room DJ, but his diverse experiences soon led him to perform at private events, with a particular passion for late-night and after-hours sets. His musical journey started in Italy during the height of the rave movement, then spending several years in London in the early 1990s, where the rise of Garage deeply influenced his sound. For many years, Techno and Acid House formed the foundation of his style. A full season in Ibiza in 2007 marked a turning point, where Minimal and Deep House became the core of his artistic expression. Inspired by legendary clubs such as DC-10, Amnesia, Space, and Privilege, Simone has continuously refined and expanded his musical identity. In the past I have played on my brother's and friends cdj's, but never owned my own, in December 2024 I finally bought my own DJ controller. My radio show at 98.1 WQAQ live on Tuesdays from 8-9pm! I am Fiona, and this is my third year doing my radio show and we're revamping with commentary in between songs so we're sticking to podcast instead of playlist formatting. I am a music show, dedicated to proving that we have to look to the past for the best music, and renewing music that may have faded from the limelight. The main music on my show is from between the 1950s-90s, with a heavy focus on rock. As an e-board member this year for the radio club, I have even more responsibility to dig up the best underrated finds I can and bring an appreciation to an older taste :)
