I Enjoy all types of music. Enjoyed the rave and club scene from 1991 - 1998 Oscars at Clacton-On-Sea Essex was my Haunt back then with some top DJs who I still listen to now and again, DJ Kenny Ken, DJ Rap, Ratty, Jumping Jack Frost, Andy C,Grooverider, DJ SS, Brockie the list goes on. Djs I listen to on hear, Soulful House - DJ Roger Miller and DJ Adrian-Van-Aalst . Mash-ups - Captun B. Jackin House - Dj Simoy & Cheeky D  I got into Festivals 1999 - 2008 as I got a bit older :). I was lucky enough to see a lot of great bands Oasis ,Coldplay,The Verve, Phonics etc. My love is still Ska which I still listen to regular, If I hear a track now and like it I will buy it. I have about 100-150 Hours worth of Ska tracks so thats why I have started doing a few mixes for others like me who enjoy a bit of ska. I dont really have a favourite Era I enjoy it all, I suppose the late 70s-80s with UK bands such as Madness, Specials, Selector, The Hotknives getting me into it but there is some good ska coming from all over world.

Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I have had a music studio called Soundfactory for about 20 years and produce tracks and mix different tapes Nu Disco Deep House Soul Funk Jazz everything I like and if you feel like it you are welcome

Producer DJ - Adventures in Sound
Producer DJ - Adventures in Sound

Anything I can muster at the time - very adaptable using samplers / visuals and can arrange stage / lighting production to enhance shows etc. Use Laptop a lot, Like to incorporate it wherever I can. Also CD / Vinyl mixing is cool - Arrange own bootleg remixes to play in sets giving a new take on old dancefloor / chill out favourites. Jon Peels Nan (on Acid) - Let her out @ your own risk Seriously though I have a compendium of wonderful sounds from across the world and many rarities to chill or entertain any musically informed crowd - My sound does not work in Pubs / Weddings etc. I like to work in a commercial edge but essentially thrive of playing big / special tune after tune, building to a crescendo of both Bass & big fat beats! Hi Here's a central resource for my various music projects and to invite collaborations / explore new ideas with like minded musical souls from back in the day; A melange of sounds and styles that represent ADVENTURES IN SOUND  An eclectic and intelligent selection of electronic music across genres from 80-160bpm. If you like the sounds of Kruder and Dorfmeister, Original Bedroom Rockers, Black Dog, Jah Shaka, Alfredo and / or John Peel, then there should be something here for you somewhere. If you use any of my mixes etc all I ask is you credit the producer as Adventures in Sound (UK). Thanks!  Pls feel free to make comments, leave mails, offer collaborations, critique/ and / or advice - always learning you know and happy to hear from sensible people with a clue ;-)   AS for my history etc - here goes.................................... I am an independent UK Producer / DJ called ADVENTURES IN SOUND - Essentially coming from an old school promoter background (SECRET SERVICE, INNERVISION, WEEKEND WORLD, LIQUID, TANTRUM to name a few)..then turning a deep love of music to Executive Production on my own tracks in a series of collaborations with One of LTJ Bukem's old skool favourites THE FORCES OF NATURE to produce Sunseeker, White sand beach & Magic Octagon as used on the original Criminal Lifer Brand website  by C4 to promote their Crime Spree Season. A chill out producer who DJ's eclectically across genres from folk to drum and bass and ideal for a festival, chill out or VIP crowd. ; The selection is vast with over 50,000 tunes from the days of Woodstock, right up to unsigned or rare / deleted stuff or simply beautiful acoustic oddities from around the world. An incredibly diverse taste in the very cream of music the only things I tend to steer away from are the teenage dubstep / grime scene, speed garage, four to the floor house, cheesy Pop - ; To give you an idea of the DJ I am - (Without inferring of course that I am a patch on the names to be mentioned!). Imagine fusing a bit of Alfredo, with Jon Peel, Giles Peterson, Chris Coco / Rob Da Bank - A splash of 4 Hero, A dash of Janice Long, a just a slither of Terry Wogan ;-) - ECLECTICI can mix According to briefs or specific sets from Indie to Drum & Bass but more honestly I prefer to entertain a smaller crowd for a longer time, allowing me the opportunity to take my listeners on a wonderful acoustic adventure from 80 - 160pm - injecting as many of my own re-versions / remixes or bootleg mash ups to the cocktail that is: ADVENTURES IN SOUND We do (best) exactly what it says on the tin ! www.myspace.com/thisisadventuresinsound Ror - Shak, Kruder & Dorfmeister, The 1st Wu Tang LP, Roots Manuva, The Original Bedroom Rockers, Magnet, Suzanne Vega, MC Wildflower & The London Posee, I am Kloot, The Ragga Twins, Portishead / Massive Attack 1st 3 LP's, Frou Frou, Ms Scandalous, Halou, Nouvelle Vague, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Doors & The Rolling Stones, Old Skool Hip Hop, The Original More Protein Stuff & Jesus Loves You, Proper old skool Aciiied / Warehouse classics and underground hits of the time.
