With musical training at the conservatory (piano, alto sax) he is also passionate about percussion (djembe, darbouka, congas). It was in 1995, being already well immersed in hiphop and after seeing Cut Killer, Crazy B, Abdel and other renowned djs, that Nicolas Cad decided to invest in mixing and signed up for the DMC training which was for him the best reference. At first mainly focused on rap, a few years later he fell in love with electronic music by investing in Parisian nights and playing in most Parisian clubs as a guest (Queen, Loco, Duplex, Bains showers, Métropolis, Scala, Bash, Antares) as well as in French and Dutch free parties and festivals. This allowed him to discover a world that will mark him for a long time.

Addicted to music since the age of 15, listening to it, playing it, and enjoying it to the fullest! I took my first steps in the world of free radio with music styles such as New Wave, New Beat, and later more danceable styles such as Garage, Disco, Soul, and Funk. My music style produced the necessary decibels through many speakers in living rooms, organized parties, and discotheques/clubs. Music is enjoyment, freedom, and carefreeness that I want to share with many listeners as fellow DJs.

Since the late 90's a collector of electronic music mainly in the house style. Since the beginning of 2000's play as a DJ from time to time. I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.
