I've been DJ-Ing since about 1993 and was influenced by listening to the pirate radio stations of the time Kool F.m,Pulse F.m,Don F.m to mention a few. Me and my friends started to do mix sessions to hone our skills,from there we started to DJ on pirate stations in London, Flare F.M,Flex F.M and also started to play at club nights and university student parties all over the country. We have also been fortunate to meet and work with other prominent DJ's and have produced a tune with DJ TEE-BONE on his RIDDIM TRACK label (RIDT 14),me and my friends DJ STYLEE,MC ICEN and me myself DJ BLISS (Real Dimension) produced tracks called HIGHLIFE and THUNDERFOOT and was released back in 1998.We also got to meet and work with Bizzy B from the Joker record label. Since then we all carried on with working on radio stations and then later on working on internet radio.Thanks for taking the time to listen....Big Up!! BIOG I've been d.j. ing since 1988 - After discovering house music from listening to Stu Allan's house hour on Key 103 I began collecting house and techno vinyl. During the early 90's I played on Pirate station - Bliss FM in Middlesbrough. During the mid 90's I played at events in Bradford including the stimulations all nighters and floating bong nights. After a number of years in China I began producing my own music and had one of my first productions 'Unite' featured on Radio 1. I've released music as 'James Sandoz' on Peeled tracks and as 'Hydrosphere' on Dash Deep. My influences include Sasha and Digweed, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Stu Allan, Paul Taylor and Layo and Bushwaka. I am also heavily influenced by the clubs I frequented in the early 90's namely - Legends, Bowlers, Angels, Havana and the Atmosphere events.

DJ Quantize a.k.a. James Barr, born and bred in Sussex, started out in 2004 performing locally at many house parties, pubs and clubs. As he progressed he was able to secure regular slots around the Somerset, Western Super-mare, Bristol, Southampton and Swindon regions, playing at numerous internet based radio stations, and is now the co-founder at Drum& Bass Network Radio. He was also involved with other various radio stations such as; Emergency FM, Bassport FM, Headrush Radio, DNB Radio, London’s Upfront Radio, BNB London Radio, Glastonbury FM and Ujima 98. His early musical influences include DJ Premier, The Fugees, Cypress Hill, DJ Zinc and DJ Craze. James’ strong interest for music and his passion to succeed led him down the production route, taking on work experience at a professional recording studio in Chichester, where he acquired a taste to start writing his own tracks. Whilst still working voluntary for Airtight Studio's and enrolling with Chichester College for Performing Arts, this course included DJing lessons and practice, gaining experience including career development courses called ‘Gateway to Music’ with an open learning plan. During this time DJ Quantizes musical style progressed to incorporate such genres such as Drum & Bass, Hip Hop and Reggae. James also performed at NASS Festival, Bruton Reggae Fest, Somerset Reggae festival and has made a number of appearances at ‘The Godney Gathering’ where he received a supporting response from the crowd. He has already had the pleasure of playing alongside many major artists like; DJ Brockie, Nicky Blackmarket, Logan D, Turno and Serial Killaz to name a few. With James’ determination, skill and passion to succeed, I am sure this DJ is going to go the distance....Amen...
