SubSystem Based in the midlands UK. My mixing style is 'hard and fast'. I dont bother making studio mixes, I prefer to capture live mixing as it happens. That said, i only publish well made listenable mixes. I will always try to add a track list (eventually). I try to avoid listening to mixes without track lists, and quickly get bored of lifeless / perfect studio mixes. Happy to interact....

Hi folks stuck in the back-arse of Northern Ireland hoping to make some techno waves locally some time before I get my bus-pass. Been listening to dance music and feck-all else faithfully since my Raving days of 1991-93. To be honest i actually started picking up Dance shows on the radio in Manchester maybe as early as '86. Moved to Hull leaving the madness of the Hac and Shelleys behind me, and did some spits and spats of house party deejaying, bought my first set of technic Sl1210s in about 94/5, soon after I was asked for advice and contacts to help set up a night in Hull, which became Lojik, which remained successful some time after I blew the town. Rave's under my skin, which means House and Techno is too. they underpin all good rhythmic melodies, movements. I just can't cut a rug to trance. I had been guesting on a few mixlr channels over the past twelve or so months, and hope to get on an internet station at some point on a regular basis, but I need to devote more time to the art, actually carving out a set, rather than flying by the seat of my pants! https://www.facebook.com/Fordnats-275232306199466/

My musical taste is varied,my main passion is Chicago House where it all began.I am teaching myself to mix at the moment the oldskool way on vinyl so one day I can party with the people,I believe the people are the party and music is a great way to unite us as one,it's a universal language that we can all understand.Music is my main hobbyand I keep learning all the time.I run a group on facebook called Oldskool Rules where we share the tunes,the memories,reminisce over back in the day and have some great banter.Music breaks down the barriers and brings people together from all walks of life under one roof be it a party,a club or a facebook music group and it's very therapeutic for the soul,music is what feelings sound like,it's pure poetry in motion,it's the one thing you can lose yourself in and find yourself at the same time.What makes a good DJ? For me personally it's knowing how to read the crowd,making a connection,it's a two way dance,it's like any other form of communication,you build a bond with the crowd,you feedoff each other and the oneness is created producing a warm glow around the room,an aura of Love that surrounds us all,insticively knowing what tune to drop next,making eye contact with the crowd is imperrative and having fun too because that's what it's all about.
