in 1990 after a travel i discover the techno music i bought his first K7 like :The Orb/razor edge 'import compilation'/808 state/LFO/Praga Khan/Two little boy/megabas/sl2/ & Many more acid beat,break,trance ..... it was a ravelation* for me and goes to big Party in Clubs like Le Rex -Le Palace – KitKat Privilege -le Néo-le Gibus-Rave party. etc…. In 1992 i started to mix with too k7 player and mixer for friend’s parties and started to be fan of the label Harthouse/Noom/EyeQ/Tip/DragonFLy/flying rhino/Platipus*Rising High*/(Fairway-Automate-Javelin)/Omnisonus/return to the source (acid trance-trancecore…)etcetc.... till this year he passed by different styles like: Techno,Techno-Ambient,Ambient* Hardcore,Tech, Trance ,Goa,Progressive house & melodic Techno... a big Thank to Guillaume la tortue , Jean Marie Koné , Olivier Planeix pour leurs superbes compilations et mix , scan X , Dj Sonic,L'exorciste aka chaotik ramses , Radio Mentale & FG*+Nova , Mazen "Techno Import" , Speedy J , Liza N'eliaz , Laurent Ho , The Orb , Fluke , underworld , Prodigy......& many many more for your neurophonic trip sharing. I do not claim in any case to be a pro dj or equivalent, I do this out of pure passion for the electro sound. I try to share and make you feel the emotion and the force that escapes from these styles of music that made me what I am. I focus on doing it the same way as some mixer compilations in the 90s. FABIAN JAKOPETZ - DJ, producer, remixer, from Croatia, Zagreb (20 years of music experience) STYLES: Techno, Techouse, House, Minimal, Progressive BIOGRAPHY: As a child he played a guitar in various bands, but he haven't found his way in expressing by live instruments. He was influenced by his older brother who was listening to electronic music from it's start, so that's the source of his beginning. As a minor has started his music career under the name DJ Dechko and practically overnight he achieves success at the local electronic music scene. In that time he has performed on most major projects and programs in Croatia. These performances enabled him massive exposure and permanent connection with the audience where he gained his experience where he achieved a great sense for floor-feeling which he uses to satisfy dancing and smiling ravers on the dance floor. Styles that he dynamicly plays are a sort of eclectic fusion of Techno, Techouse, House, Progressive and Minimal music, although in creative moments he likes to surprise his crowd with some other stuff not linked to these genres. In parallel with DJ career, he started to do production of electronic music, but through years of musical experience, he gained confidence and courage to send his music to labels that in 2009 resulted with the first release in colaboration with Damir Pushkar for the legendary Bonzai Records. This release broke the ice of his career, which was since then in absolute growth, and results by new releases on large and world famous labels, such as: Yin Yang Records, Elektrax Recordings, Baroque Records, Bonzai Music, Decide Music Concept, Sony Music Entertainment, Funk'n Deep Records, Whartone Records, Le bien et le mal, ZYX Music, Sound of Acapulco, Hamburg Aufnahmen, Punch Underground and many more. He is one of the rare Croats who had the opportunity to remix so many greats of world electronic music, which some of them were nominated for Grammy, legends like: Tiesto, Eddie Amador, Spartaque, Oliver Moldan, Jerry Ropero, Yves Deruyter, Steve Mulder, AnGy KoRe, Daniele Petronelli, Balthazar & JackRock, Ali Wilson, Airwave, TKNO, Dataworx, Arkatec a.k.a. Since I was very young like 7yrs old, I remember being pulled by music sounds and mixes they did in the 70s,but in 83' all it took was for my friend to lend me his turntables and boom box, started DJn in 85 and the rest has been a wonderful trip in the mix. Bboying and Chicago house trax became my influence while living in the U.S. Now, here in my country of Guatemala City in Central America, I will continue getting on the ones and twos and produce, as well as help or collaborate with whomever is interested in working with me.
