A sagely old DJ once told me- 'First rule of DJ ing is get the ladies dancing.' Wise words that have put me in good stead for many years of house partying. If the ladies dance, everything else will follow. Most of these mixes have been tried and tested and the first question I ask myself when auditioning tracks...... Avkari currently consists of the duo of Adam and Simon from St Helens producing Trance mixes from a wide variety of styles under the trance umbrella from well known classics to the more underground sounds of the tech trance scene. Avkari are currently running the weekly Inner Mind series focusing on tracks that speak to the emotions from tracks that sooth the mind with their melodies, amazing vocals and progressive feel to the Uplifting and euphoric sounds that speak to a primal part of each person. Avkari has also started the Embrace the 138 series to focus on the faster, more uplifting tracks that are above 138 BPM that have a booming bass and incite high levels of energy. From an early age Daniel had an obsession with music, DJing at his parents new years eve party at the age of 10 and buying and collecting music whenever possible, It was a number of years later that Daniel was able to buy his first technical set of decks and start his DJing journey. In 2008 Daniel won a DJ slot in a competition, arranged byTrackitdown.netand Dance Island to DJ at the Dance Island Festival, his mix was 1 of 15 from 650+ entries to get chosen, a magnificent achievement and another step in the right direction in his djing career. Since 2008 Daniel has been fortunate enough to secure various residencies at local clubs and had the opportunity to play in some of the UK's best loved venue's. In recent times Daniel has seen his DJing go from strength to strength, embracing new technologies and also venturing into the world of mashup/bootleg creation. Onwards and upwards, as D:Ream would say "Things can only get better"
