Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, amateur pianist, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Andrea Fiorino, born in 1979, is most popular today for his radio show Mastermix broadcast on more than 30 radio stations worldwide at the moment and also for his obsession with mashups and bootlegs - he made more than 100 of them to the present some of which are highlighted and played by the big names on the house scene like Frankie Knuckles, Grant Nelson, DJ Meme or Jask. He also works on some "proper" house music productions - alone or together with his friends like Arco, Poco, Thomas Back or eL Jay - or tries to bring some world famous house DJs and producers to his hometown - Brno, Czech Republic - thru his residencies in the various local clubs.

Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

Hi, im42 years of age and ever since i was fourteen ive been into house music. I have a massive back catalogue of vinyl, mix tapes and now cds and its all ive ever really listened too even though im now married and my wife sings in a predomantly rock band! My favourite song ever is Frankie Knuckles Tears and i had Hardsouls Back Together played as the first dance song at my wedding My favourite style is uptempo soulful with a hint of deep and currently intoGolf Clap, Richard Earnshaw, Grant Nelsonand one of my fave DJs being Norman Jayand my favourite djs on here are DJ Rimiks and SoulSeo.
