Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham). This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! XJ thrives on his crowd’s reaction to his exciting musical journeys, so if you like what you hear and want to see him in action at your event get in touch. I have loved all forms of Dance music since discovering the Rave scene in 1990 at Energy, Raindance, The Crazy Club, World Dance etc etc. Raving and E's changed my World forever!! DJ Heroes include: Carl Cox, Sasha, David Morales, Tall Paul, John Digweed, Fabio and Grooverider, Danny Rampling. Paul Oakenfold, Brandon Bloc and the brilliant Steve Lawler. I learnt to mix on a pair of Soundlab DLP 3's with very basic mixer!!! Always wanted a pair of Technics 1210's but never quite had the money!! Haven't had a mix for quite a few years now, but would love to try mixing digitally, must be so good. I now have a young family so Clubbing days etc are virtually over, but still love all forms of House music. I love proper 'Deep House' but still like a bit of Progressive and Techno every now and then! Favourite all time clubs: Ku Ibiza, Peach at Camden Palace, Cream and the very early Hed Kandi days. Would love to go back to Ibiza and watch my hero Carl Cox playing pumping Techno in the 'Space' Discotecca. 'Space... oh yes, oh yes' !!!!! Will upload a mix one day when I get the time and the equipment! In the meantime I would like to thank all the DJ's that upload all of their brilliant mixes. Keeps me going through the daily grind !!! Extra respect to DJ Toni Tiger, DJ Rog (Roger Bridge), Migzy, JayRock, DJ Ebo, Rob Styles, Fredstar-Rocks,Roger Miller, DJ Valiku, MixPat, and Maxitronic. Quality sets each and everytime. Some of my favourite dance tracks of all-time: Orbital - Chime, Your Love - The Prodigy,
