Rules

In order to compete, you need to follow these simple rules:

- Genre: Breakbeat (subgenres Breaks/UK Bass are allowed to include in your mix)
- Name: Breakbeat Competition 2023
- Primary Tag / Genre: Breakbeat
- Additional Tags: Breakbeat Competition 2023 (Important!)
- Length: Approximately 30 minutes (not over 35 minutes and no less than 25 minutes).
- Your mix must include the audio file "Sip Clap" (82bpm, B minor, 10A) by Cinema Electric.
- Include an accurate tracklist.
- Only 1 entry per person.
- Use the cover art provided.
- Be creative!
- Once you submitted your mix you can't re-do it and submit again.

If your mix doesn't match the rules, the judges will exclude it in their evaluation.
So please read the rules carefully before you submit your entry.

HOW THE JUDGING WORKS:

All mixes will be judged individually on creativity, quality transitions so it feels effortless and of course great track selection.
The competition will comprise of 2 segments.
Advancement from round 1 will be determined by our special jury (they are not members on the site) and they will choose 5 mixes that will advance to round 2.
Top 3 placements of round 2 will be determined by our guest judge, GRAMZ, along with reasons why those 3 are the best mixes.
