Jack of House are a pair of DJ's from the sunny streets of Brighton who live and breath for music. Friends since there school days, these music loving heroes have been spinning together on and off for over 10 years but have now finally decided to join forces and combine there extensive knowledge of all things musical. There solo ability to rock a crowd is legendary, as is there wide taste of music, and now as they come together the future most certainly looks bright. Not content with playing other peoples beautifully crafted music, they have naturally progressed into the studio to create and unleash there own brand of sounds that no sane person can stand still to. I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.

It’s Sad… Melancholic… Fearful… Painful… Woeful… Dreadful… Grievous… Sick… Sorrowful… Gloomy… Awe-inspiring… Doleful… Formidable… Dolorous… Down-hearted… This is a Hungarian solo project by Roland Tarczi (doom187, Sirius Sparrow). “I have strange visions and nightmares since my childhood. They inspire me in my arwork. In my drawings, paintings, and in my music too. I think I started playing music when I was 15-16. I used to play some kind of Black and Doom Metal, but sometimes the mixture of them. I chose the name Salem. A lot of interesting bands influenced me for example: Satyricon, My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Dimmu Borgir, Aghast, Clint Mansell, Fantomas… I wrote a lot of songs which are hard to digest, but I liked them. I remember my favourite song was called “from Hell”. It was dark, strong, reserved, middle rythme and fearful. I’ve always played my own music, I rarely practiced from my favoutites, but there is a song which I always play to me from the My Dying Bride: The Scarlet Garden. It’s so sad, perfect and so easy to play. Nowadays I changed. I found a softer way in music. I also changed my project’s name to End Of Journey and now I play a kind of Ambient music or something like this. In this style the most genius band is the Aghast. They made only one album, but that is a perfect one.
