Since I was very young like 7yrs old, I remember being pulled by music sounds and mixes they did in the 70s,but in 83' all it took was for my friend to lend me his turntables and boom box, started DJn in 85 and the rest has been a wonderful trip in the mix. Bboying and Chicago house trax became my influence while living in the U.S. Now, here in my country of Guatemala City in Central America, I will continue getting on the ones and twos and produce, as well as help or collaborate with whomever is interested in working with me. I started DJing at the age of 18, when my mother asked me if I want a driving licence for my birthday or a record player - I decided for the record player ☺ My idols were and are Todd Terry, Westbam, Gary D., Paul Oakenfold, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tyree Cooper, Matthias Heilbronn and many others. I spinned "live" at a few parties and at some clubs. I love all types of music, so I spinned "Salsa and Merengue" for a few years too - love the Latin vibe. My style depends on my daily mood ;)) House-Mixes is a great site to share our passion for music...keep the vibe alive ☺

Hi Peeps, Been DJing for a long 32 years +, started of on wax (still my fav), then to CD, then to digital. Still got my 1210's, had the first original vestax twin CD player, then moved to Pioneer now Traktor As Stevie Wonder said music IS the key to life, it's the one thing that can reflect your current feeling as well as change it. Mike Perkins known professionally as DJ MIGGS SA has been a DJ since 1998. He completed a DJ course at the DJ academy where he learnt the art of Vinyl DJing from Lino B and DJ Cleo to name a but few. He then spent 2 years at the legendary Good 4 Fellas in Hatfield with his 2 mentors DJ LJ (A.K.A DJ Vlies) and DJ Nick “ The Greek”. Other club appearances included LIV Bedfordview and ROX energy drink launch party@ La Toscana Monte Casino From here on he moved into mobile DJ work for companies such as MNET, StandardBank, Barloworld Motor Retail, First National Bank, Business Connexion, ABSA, Kodak, Rox Energy Drink, Momentum, Sun International and Off The Wall Promotions plus various others. Currently on Shine879 DAB to Essex Saturday nights from 10pm(UK)also to London and Anglia on Freeview channel 277 on the UK Radio Portal . ALEXA play Shine879 Radio or all the www.shinedab,com and the powerful app which can be downloaded from the APPLE App Store At a very young age Andy got hooked on the music and was travelling for hours searching out his favourite tracks that he had heard on Greg Edwards Robbie Vincent and Jeff Young radio shows. Just before the big music explosion of 1989 he started organising one offs at the Penthouse Suite in Ilford and also at Chains. This continued and whilst doing these events, got asked to present on the Essex based “Pirate” radio, Stomp FM and this is when the radio bug took hold. While putting a team together to push for a legally licensed radio station, Andy continued DJing at one offs including Oceans based in the Barbican where he had the privilege of being on the same bill as the likes of CJ Mackintosh, Graham Gold and Judge Jules, also during that time held a residency at Club Warehouse. It was at this stage that LoveFever came about. After a lot of lobbying with the authorities and setting up small scale radio broadcasts and presenting at events like the Live-wire Weekender and Southport.
