Originally from the North West UK Ger has been spinning since 1992 playing early rave and house inspired by djs like Carl Cox and Jeremy Healy for there aggressive mixing techniques,.Through the 90's my sound got more dark and progressive following the likes of Nick warren ,Anthony Pappa and of coarse Sasha and Jonny Digweed.In 1999 Ger moved to Dublin,Ireland and was immersed in a vibrant club scene attending the legendary Temple Theater, Ormonde Dublin and the GPO in Galway.Holding weekly and monthly residencies on Radio4by4 and Progressive Heaven.Recently Gerz has had mixes Featured on Progressive House Classics blog and plays his podcast Purple haze sessions drops on selected Radio stations across the internet including Subcode , Super Progressive ,KDK DJ's , Progressive House UK ,Sonar Bliss Radio Belfast , RTE PULSE " Back 2 Basics" ,Mixpub Radio, Inferno radio, Chicago Youth radio,So What! My Name is Wayne brooks aka djbrooksie I have been mixing since 1992 when i got my first ever beat match using two copies of a slammin vinyl track called ROUGHER-Ever since then i have been into my music and the rave scene - my first love was mid 90,s Happy Hardcore aka 4 Beat as well as what is known as Oldskool Hardcore 89-90-91-92-93 , My main influences in music are Pianos and vocal which has led me into the paths of Happy Hardcore- Oldskool Hardcore-Happy n Funky house -oldskool House -Scouse House -and UK garage . Ive been around music all my life i love it live it thrive from it and have been learning to mix since March 2010, Not saying im great cos im far from great but just trying to get there and getting better and better every time, I love my Old Skool tunage more than anything else as you will tell by all my mixes ;) . BIOG I've been d.j. ing since 1988 - After discovering house music from listening to Stu Allan's house hour on Key 103 I began collecting house and techno vinyl. During the early 90's I played on Pirate station - Bliss FM in Middlesbrough. During the mid 90's I played at events in Bradford including the stimulations all nighters and floating bong nights. After a number of years in China I began producing my own music and had one of my first productions 'Unite' featured on Radio 1. I've released music as 'James Sandoz' on Peeled tracks and as 'Hydrosphere' on Dash Deep. My influences include Sasha and Digweed, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Stu Allan, Paul Taylor and Layo and Bushwaka. I am also heavily influenced by the clubs I frequented in the early 90's namely - Legends, Bowlers, Angels, Havana and the Atmosphere events.

Started mixing in the late 80's,with house music like orbital,klf,8o8 state etc and the chicargo/detroit scene that was big around that time and moved right through into the beginning of Belgium techno and hardcore scene and into Jungle/ D&B from 92 onwards aswel. Would mix most styles of dance music from house to progressive, garage and big beat etc. If it had a beat and I had enough tunes for a mix id mix it. Loving the Hardcore Breaks / Nu skool Breaks scene at the moment,thats keeping the old skool scene going.I've never prepped or worked out a mix ever,just cue the first two and of i go with just the tunes laid out in front of me.This way i feel the music and vibe more and its where i get my kick,mixing the way it should be done.Will only upload a mix im sure makes the grade. I love doing mixes of megamixes too and upload them every couple of weeks or so.
