Goya MusicMan, a passionate DJ, started his music journey in 1999 at just 16 years old. What began as a hobby turned into a career spanning over two decades. By 2008, he was already performing as a semi-professional DJ. He built his reputation playing at clubs like Platinum Lounge (2008-2009), Café del Khuze (2010-2012), and Dukes Grill Lounge (2011-2015). From 2016 to 2019, he became a freelancer, touring with King Maestro in various cities across South Africa. Between 2019 and 2021, he took a break from club gigs to study political science but continued making mixtapes for his podcast, The Goya MusicMan Show. In 2022, he helped create music event concepts for The Sauce Lifestyle Café in Polokwane, including the successful PLK Plastic Affair, which ran until 2024 and featured international DJs. In 2022, he was hired by Seventh House Ltd. to produce a jazz mix for Eddie Harris. Today, he runs Goya Music SA, an aspiring record label, and continues to DJ, create mixtapes, and train as a music producer under Victor Duba at Lepatata Records. His journey is all about passion, growth, and pushing boundaries in music.

It was only 'till he got messing with some MP3 mixing software (Atomix)...........then caught the bug. Instead of going down the electronic route he managed to grab some dirt-cheap Technics SL-1210 Mk3 decks & SH-DJ1200 mixer (for a bargain £500) and was soon trawling the record shops of London and eBay tracking down those rare-as-rockinghorse-sh*t tunes! Over time (and £££s spent!) he has built up a vast & extensive collection of the very best Old Skool Garage nostalgic tunes from 1997-2002; he likes to call this the 'Golden Era'. Many, many hours of practise behind the decks gave him the skills and confidence to take the plunge and jet out to Laganas, Zante in 2005 for the entire summer to share his talent. There, he immediately gained residency in Wackabout/Sabotage Club and also DJ'd guest nights at Amnesia Nightclub, Club Black & White and Footprint Beach Bar. Since his return he has played out at various bars/clubs and private functions around London & Surrey such as Wimbledon, Croydon and Clapham. Apart from Old Skool Garage, he specialises in and Funky/Disco/Electro House which has mainly been driven by his passion for anything Hed Kandi – he owns a massive collection of their CD compilations dating back since 2004. His funky house collection on vinyl ranges from 1999-Present though! Donny always has the crowd in mind and endeavours to give them what they want to hear. He loves to know his music inside-out so can drop tunes at the perfect spot to keep them jumping all night. Music-wise he is pretty versatile; he can also mix Trance and Drum & Bass. His partner in crime Mike Chadwick is also somewhat of a master around the decks who specialises in HipHip and R&B of all years so, together will always have something in their boxes for the masses! Andrea Fiorino, born in 1979, is most popular today for his radio show Mastermix broadcast on more than 30 radio stations worldwide at the moment and also for his obsession with mashups and bootlegs - he made more than 100 of them to the present some of which are highlighted and played by the big names on the house scene like Frankie Knuckles, Grant Nelson, DJ Meme or Jask. He started spinning in 1989 on a set of belt drive turntables. Learning how to mix from scratch and playing in gyms and auditoriums for school dances and community events. His first real gig was in Windsor playing on the same bill as Richie Hawtin and John Aquaviva at the Building. Working his way opening on the Toronto rave circuit for DJs like Dr Trance, Chris Sheppard, Dekoze, Jelo & Capital J. In 1995 moving on to Alberta to work radio he had his own show on MY96FM in Medicine Hat for 4 years and was a co-founder of Phreaky Phellows Productions (along with Ryan Organ & Jessie Swain) which combined threw over 60 major raves/events which saw 5 Alive, DJ Double D, DJ Anthem, DJ Grubb, Lori the HiFi Princess come to town. In 2000 under the sponsorship of Needle Clothing Co he then left for Vancouver and played the club circuit with such notables as Marco Carola, Mauro Picotto, Kaskade, Plump DJs, Benny Benassi, RC Lair, Czech, K OS, Marlon J English, Scott Audio, Jeff Galaxy, Mirka L Cerny, DJ XL & Jesse James. In 2003 he left to DJ on Princess Cruise Lines and would play on lay overs in places like Greece, England, Russia, Barbados and; Holland. At present he lives on Vancouver Island working on his production and planning his next destination.
