As many may know I'm a big fan of portable amusement rides.  In the early 2000s I made several mixes for singular
traveling rides that I really liked.  I made a mix for the Cumberland Valley Shows owned Mondial Top Scan themed
the "Space Roller" (1992 Rolling Beats) and this one, a mix for the Amusements of America owned KMG Afterburner
themed the "Fire Ball".  I gave out these CDs to the two rides at the 2003 Meadowlands Fair.

The KMG Fire Ball's foreman's name was Scott Roman and he was extremely appreciative of the mix CD.  He played
it right away and loved it so much he wanted more of my mix CDs.  The next year I came back and gave both rides
CD wallets of my mix CDs.  Apparently later on the ride foreman Scott had lost the CD wallet and that was the last I heard.

I later saw this ride set up at the Orange County Fair in NY and the ride had a completely different crew.  I
photographed the ride and the large crew of 20-30 year olds wanted to pose on the various parts of the ride, some
climbing the A frame to pose which blew me away!  They were certainly proud to be maintaining this machine to say
the least and why not, it was (_was_) a great ride, one of the better ones traveling in the US.

I always loved the KMG Afterburner as a patron and I always enjoyed riding it.  It's one of the few rides that
doesn't make me sick as an adult human being.

Unfortunately recently this ride, this _exact unit_ has made it into the news.  This past week at the Ohio
State Fair one of the sweeps fatigued and fell off while the ride was in the middle of a cycle killing one young
boy and seriously maiming the other passengers.

I find the news of amusement rides actually killing people to be more disturbing then any other kind of news
about terrorism or Jeff Sessions.  At least you know with terrorism or the Trump administration that death,
despair, and the stripping away of human rights will occur.  Yet with amusement rides like this one or the Great
Adventure Haunted Castle, you assume you will have a good time, and not to die.

At any rate now seems like a good time or a bad time to re-release this old mix that actually played more then a
few times on this now famous ride.  It's a nice 1994 Happyhardcore mix.  Unfortunately the original WAV file was
deleted as I didn't have much space on my computer at the time.  I only have this low quality 192kbps MP3.  I have
no desire to re-record it as I found the constant onslaught of happiness to be a bit hard to listen to, the same
way a set of all dark 1993 jungle is hard for me to listen to.  I prefer a balance.

I wish the survivors of the KMG Afterburner accident a speedy and successful recovery and my prayers to the boy who
lost his life.  I hope KMG finally fixes their Afterburner / Move-it design flaw once and for all.  I seem to be
the only one on the internet who remembers they had a similar issue with the Move-it 24 "Spin-Out" ride in Puerto
Rico ~2005.  It's pretty much the same sweep arm fatigue issue.
