This track came out of both being really pissed off at what the original band did on Discogs and because I never liked the original after the first drop.  If you didn't know, the band commissioned a remix and a remastered repress of their 1992 filler tune, Do U C The Light.  It was apparently for sale on Bandcamp and I never knew about it.  I found out about all this after the fact after the fall out of the BS.  For some reason (greed maybe) they no longer liked the repress and blocked it's sale on Discogs.  I've never seen this happen with this kind of music.  I have seen the W.A.S.P. live DVD blocked for sale on Discogs but that's heavy metal.  I solved that problem by buying the bootleg W.A.S.P. DVD on Ebay and equaly so, I solved my Hardcore Rhythm Team problems by making my own damn remix.  This remix replaced the lame singing in the rain intro, removed the chopped up breakbeat bits which detracted from my enjoyment, and I also removed the piano breakdown which was in the wrong key for the track.  I replaced the piano section with a Ron Wells inspired call and response bit using the Eclectic "It's Brutal" riff and the Tronik House SOH riff.  I replaced the intro with Isao Tomita rain drop sounds from his The Planets album (Most famiously used in Spinback & Windmill's "Devine Inspiration").  I added Dica & Big Vern 100mph edits because the first time I heard Do U C The Light was on a Raymond Bingham mix where he mixed these two records and they both really did it for me.

I decided to put this up after getting a Discogs comment notification from Mulder about a reply he made to my comment on Discogs about the banned repress.  I felt I should share this for Christmas outside of a DJ mix.
