2D Electro started off as 2 House DJs for about 2 years, but DJing wasn't enough. They wanted more out of music than just blending other artist productions and compositions. 2D Electro wanted to capture all aspects that appealed to them of influential artists such as DJ Bam Bam, Laidback Luke, Deadmua5, Steve Angello, and Robbie Rivera and then combine these sounds, but not in a typical DJing and blending fashion.
2D Electro wanted to take the time to create music and learn all the technical aspects of sound, such as the low frequency, high frequency, and etc. In order to maximize these skills, 2D Electro majored in audio productions while simultaneously producing/composing music. This work furthered the development of their unique talent but was not enough to satisfy their hunger for sound.
2D Electro was not content with the loss of creativity that results from many contemporary styles. They left school, but integrated the knowledge they gained
from this experience with their own personal style. During the preceding year 2D Electro dedicated their time to honing their skills through their own productions with varying music and sound, while also listening to and adapting to different music.
2D Electro recognized that success and talent didn't come from formal education but from within, through experience, natural rhythm, dedication, passion, and drive. 2D Electro embodies all of these aspects, which have led to their growing success and recognition within the industry. 2D Electro has kept Chicago nightlife hot at venues including Vain, Wet, and Martini Ranch.
Throughout their life, 2D Electro has been visual artist. They are developing a name for themselves and truly deserve it.
