A bag of CD's, Ableton Live, Traktor and Some Ed Fones
Adam has been a musician since his mid teens, playing guitar during his lunch break whilst all his school friends were off playing football. ;
His passion in music led him to play in lots of bands but, it wasn't until his early twenties that he started listening to electronic music. ;
The musician in him insisted that he must start fiddling with the sound, and first started using tape recorders and instruments and drums to start making his own loops and beats. Then by chance, a friend he met was a dj and had a pair of turntables and once he had seen how mixing was done he was hooked.
In 2008 after being introduced to the Misztifiedmind and Shin Dig crew he found himself discovering a new and beautiful vibe, the music was sparkley and Adam's brain well and truly tickled. ;
Adam was djing under the name Space Monkey and was getting gigs at events like Psychedelic Circle, Misztifiedminds Recs, Acid Monkey, Small World and Shindig playing full on and progressive psy. His music has always had the kind of energy that opens your heart and pushes the listener to dance.
He has played sets along side dj/live acts including Compressor, Earthling, Laughing Buddha, Chanarananda, Zub Zub as well as Paul Didge. He feels he has been really lucky and is grateful for all the experience he has had. ;
Adam has also found a love in psychedelic ambient music, ethnic and roots and has learnt to play the didgeridoo and djembe to a high standard.
Now, in 2010, after some reflection he has decided to incorporate his love for didgeridoo into his live set and a name change only seemed right for the new act: AdOm. He is feeling good about Electonic Didge and dance music as well as what the future holds for him . . . . ;
