Bio
At the age of eight he bought his first vinyl, at the age of twelve he rocked as a DJ at teen parties and school events; and when he performed his first live appearance as a rapper he was sweet seventeen. The early nineties blew him to Berlin, where he lived in a occupied house with a group of young people, most of whom were musically or artistically gifted.
During this period he worked as a roadie and moved around a lot. "Berlin was an exciting time for me!" David recalls, "We were young, wild and crazy. With Ekomenia we were the opening act for Curtis Blow at Potsdam -Weber House- and in Berlin I even met Lee Scratch Perry; and believe it or not, I was his chaufer. That was wicked! "
Those times were followed by several releases on smaller labels in Germany and numerous live gigs in Germany and Jamaica as well. David lives in Düsseldorf collaborating with various musicians and producers such as the Bodo Staiger (Rheingold) as Afromatic, becoming increasingly valuable in the electronic music scene of western Germany.
