DJ Al'Goodie is a name that has become synonymous with the club scene in the metropolis that is Auckland City. To understand DJ Al'Goodie you must first understand the man behind the reputation. A child of the 80’s, he was spoon fed a diet of U.S. and U.K. pop which enabled his appetite becoming an aficionado of all genres of music. While a student of the ‘Old School’, Al'Goodie is not ignorant to change and has adapted along with the music hence his ability to stay current in this fickle industry. Being handed the ‘resident’ DJ tag is a highlight for most turntablists, for Al'Goodie it became the norm as he was handed numerous residencies (Homebase,Thirsty Whale, Club LAX, Boogie Wonderland, 420, Pony Club) because of his ability to read a crowd and then seamlessly blend between styles and genres that has put him into residence at almost every cutting edge venue in Auckland. While this can be said about most DJs none can be matched when it comes to his uncanny business and promoting nous. That ability to create promotions and showcase various acts has seen him flown across the globe to DJ exclusive private parties in Australia and in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). His consistency and professionalism has seen him play alongside such luminaries as DJ Peter Gunz, DJ MOTO, DJ CXL, DJ MANCHOO, DJ TIKELZ, DJ REMINISE, MANUEL BUNDY, DJ MANNY, MOTO, as well as hip hop heavyweights Dei Hamo, Young Sidd, Feelstyle, rising Hip-hop artist ANONOMOUZ r&b group 4DG and Reggaes 3 Houses Down. Not limited to the club scene Al'Goodie’s talents have seen him DJ a regular slot on live radio over a nationwide radio network (Niu FM). Currently holds residencies at "4:20" and "Rising Sun" but still DJ's parties all over the universe. Lastly Al'Goodie is pronouced "OWL-GOODIE" not "ALL-GOODIE"...lol PEACE!
