Bio

Always been into ma tunes, from the early 90's out ravin and misbehavin, started getting into the Jungle grooves, liked the beats, the breaks and the samples, Fabio Grooverider Topbuzz etc. A mate had a pair of decks, used to go round and mess about but found it quite easy once the penny dropped... Moved towards the more chilled drum and bass, Bukem & Conrad, Logical Progression 'In full session, in full swing!' wicked stuff, all over Good Looking Records, Looking Good Records, 720degrees, Blame, Blu Mar Ten, Intense, Seba, Makoto etc. It was all getting a bit quick for aging body to keep up with, by the early noughties the likes of Skint Records, TCR, Marine Parade Records, were putting out some good tunes which I could keep up with. Full of the beats, breaks and samples again but with more of a party feel, Fat Boy Slim, Blim, Adam Freeland, Kingsize Records, Dust2Dust, Whole9Yards etc. Then it all changed for me, Fingerlickin Records came along and with the producers on there, Soul Of Man, Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, Drummattic Twins etc just blew everything out of the water for a little while, they just cranked up the funk! And this is where I am today, loving the breaks, the variety from hiphop funk 4x4 electro up to full speed breaks and DnB (on a good day!). Evil Nine, Stanton Warriors, all the Fingerlickin lot, NAPT, Funkonomics, Alex Metric... Done quite a few local nights and house partys here and there over the years, nothing too serious, hope you like some of this...
