James's career began back in 1996 when a friend was playing at all the raves such as, Dreamscape, Helter-skelter etc.
He thought to himself "I wouldn't mind a go at that!"
He bought his first set of decks in 1996 and first started playing old school hardcore and Drum and Base from his friend's record collection, before going on to buy his own.
The first tune James ever bought was Rocca Fellas The Boss track, a hard trance/techno tune.
James started getting in to trance at the time that trance hit its peak in 1998 and secured himself a residency for a number of years at Babylon in bath,James then progressed and took his career to Ibiza for 5 seasons 2000-2005, where he played in a number of clubs including Eden, Es Paridis, etc. After playing for other promoters and establishing his reputation he jumped at the chance to get involved in running nights at Eden and Clockwork Orange by filling the role of PR Manager, which gave him the opportunity to host the his biggest gig to date, the closing party for Relentless at which was also his residency whilst back in the UK.
In 2005 James was running the DJ booth in Amnesia Ibiza where he was responsible for looking after some of the worlds biggest DJs, such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk to name but a few.
Since returning to the UK on a permanent basis James has played at a number of local bars and clubs including, Bijou, Timbuk2, The Fez and others and secured himself a residency at 2 of Bristol's most successful nights Pukka Up and Electroquisite playing electro house and fooking loves it!!.
