My name is Gus Bain and I have been a professional DJ for over 18 years now. I started DJing at the age of 12 with a dream of being a professional radio presenter. I have been lucky enough to have never worked as a mobile DJ. I went straight into my first club on my 18th birthday and have never looked back since. I love to play Chart and Dance remixesas well as the 70's and 80's classics.I can mix anything. Because I have been DJing for 18 years now I found that I got bored of just DJing 5 nights a week I wanted to really entertain people so in 1999 DJ Johnny Starr was born. Johnny Starr is a personality DJ who interacts with the crowd. He is dressed in disco designer retro suits with flares , afro hair and platform shows. The music he plays is hit after hit from the disco era of the 70's and 80's keeping the dance floor hot all night long. Theres more, Johnny Starr plays all the music from music videos. That's right ,you will be able to see the likes of Abba , Barry White , Drifters , Donna Summer and loads more on the big screen, so while getting entertained on the dance floor, others will be getting entertained by watching classic retro music videos from their seats. THE DISCO INFERNO STAGE SHOW: Disco Inferno is a sincere parody of the disco years. Headed by the seventies 'legend' Johnny Starr - The original Medallion Man and the 'host with the boast', this is an interactive cabaret style show, which is a mixture of comedy, fun, mad-cap one liners from Johnny and music that dancing was made for. The show is presented with a spectacular Studio 54 style stage set, lighting, special effects, and a sensational sound system. The Disco Inferno cast features talented performers dressed in meticulously re-created costumes, who deliver classic dance moves and routines to the soundtrack of the seventies and Live singing. RADIO SHOWS : My dream of becoming a radio presenter came true in 2000 when I got offered my own radio show thru the night on a commercial station. I then progressed to hosting the drive time and breakfast shows.I have since worked on 6 other commercial stations. Because of the radio success I progressed onto TV with Setanta Sports doing match commentary on both Hearts and Hibs home matches in the SPL. You can currently find me DJing at Chalky's Late Night Lounge Main Roomevery Wednesday , Friday and Saturday and Planet on a Tuesday Night. Other Interests: i enjoy playing most sports like football , tenpin bowling and pool.

The 80s mixes I do for fun For my own pleasureif you listen to the mix which your saying is the flash back mix it only samples itIve extended the songs and the tracklist is different.only used it as a bridge to make the mix
all the 80s mixes i do are made up from mega mixes joined and sampled on the pcim a dance dj not a 80s dj these mixes are done for fun and my own pleasureas back to the 80s volume 3 you said was the flash back mix if you listen to the full mix it only samples itthe tracks have been extendedchanged and chopped up.which is still a form of mixing using production skills
