Hey Everybody, it's me - Jon Wang returning again with the 10th installment in my series of tribute mixes to my fellow friends/DJ's/producers and this month the spotlight is on local Dallas house music legend Brett Johnson. Ive been a fan, a friend, a student, a teacher and a roommate of his. We've shared stages together, celebrated birthdays & danced on many a dance floor and I can tell you without hesitation that I could not be prouder of all his musical accomplishments. He's been on a mission since he was 12-13 yrs old to bring his special select sound into the universe and share it with everyone. And its with great pleasure and admiration that I've put this mix together as both a tribute and a birthday present for him (sorry its a few days late B).
