Hailing from Southern California, DJ ECTO1 has been rockin’ clubs long before he was old enough to party at them. With his diverse taste of music, Ecto1 mixes Just about everything from Hip-Hop, Rock, 80s & House Music which he favors the most! Growing up with a passion for the house genre, his vast knowledge and love for music thus created the foundation of DJ Ecto1 ‘s style of mixing. With today’s explosion of dance, house & electro into the pop and mainstream culture what sets Ecto1 apart from other djs is his ability to blend every genre of music with a high energy twist. Ecto1’s versatile style and unique skills continues to make him grow not only a highly recognized name but also a sought-after name in the industry. Ten years ago at the age of 16 Ecto1 touched his first a set of turntables, collecting vinyl records & practicing his mixing/scratcing skills on a daily basis, his persistence and dedication slowly began to pay off as his popularity & network grew, with the rise of local success Ecto1 Decided to take his dj career to the next level… In 2006, Ecto1 Kicked off his dj career in radio when he was hired at the #1 hip-hop station in Ventura/Santa Barbara Counties KCAQ Q1047fm. & Now Syndicated In The Inland Empire ,Ca. Broadcasting Over 2.1 Million Listeners Daily! while at Q1047,Ecto1 not only got a chance to work with industry pros, but was able to experience the radio business first hand while perfecting his mixing skills and entertaining crowds! While mixing on air rocking the party mix weekends Ecto1 has be fortunate to have performed alongside & DJ’d with some of the industry’s leading artist & DJs such as LMFAO, Far East Movement, Swedish Egil, Bam Bam, Am Fm Alexander, Richard Humpty Vission, Wiz Khalifa, Too Short, Mack 10,WC,New Boyz,50 Cent & Steve Aoki to name a few. Ecto1 can be found djing at some of the hottest clubs in Southern California stretching from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles & you can still catch DJ Ecto1 Rocking the air waves on Q1047fm & now weekly in other markets across the U.S. KRYC Rhythm105.9fm Yuba Citys Party Station, CA. Ecto1 has the ability to feel the beat and pulse of the crowd like so few DJ's can,Known for his strong knowledge of music, ability to read a crowd, eclectic sound and scratching skills, he's definitely a club favorite! He modestly believes that his talent is a blessing from God which led him to his current career and In addition, he has all the support in the world from his family, friends, and peers. While he continues to perform in the clubs, on air, produce mixtapes, and share his talents with others he plans to further his career by continuing to be on the top of his game and challenging himself.
