Founder of Dulcet Sounds, Laughing Cows Comedy and co producer of Rapture Club Night, DJ Hazel comes with the tag line ‘designed to DJ’ turning her ADHD traits to mix 4 tracks simultaneously with ease complimented by her female, multitasking abilities and sound and lighting engineering skills to EQ each track and trigger light and sound cues perfectly. Based in Manchester, UK Hazel is an event manager with over 18 years of experience. A Member of the National Association of DJ’s and DJ Mark, Gold award holder and finalist for contributions to Culture and arts in the Manchester City Council International Womens day Awards 2014. Hazel enjoys impressing you with her ability to match beats then once she has your attention she will will scan the room and mix it up, taking samples from a variety of genres to get the party atmosphere as hyped a possible often Mixing 90s soul, rnb and dance with current house and bassline threading her sets together with female vocals from different era’s. As an event manager i like to have at least a basic understanding of every aspect of the work, so i can sound engineer, run a bar, set up pa systems and lighting rig etc ... as i started learning a bit more about DJ ing, i was offered paid work almost immediately so i ran with it. Now it feels like a dream job and am a booked pretty much every weekend.
