One of the DJ's many tools in the early to mid 80s were the different versions of a song in a 12" single. These helped us make music a little different and often made people wonder how's he doin' that. Today DJ's use tools like these, only these are computerized remixes and edits. So i thought i'd compile a mix with a lot of instrumentals and dub versions from 12" singles. It is not meant to be a 100% perfect mix but rather a trip down memory lane for those freestyle DJ's from the 80s that may be hiding out there. And for those like me who loved going to the record stores and look through records and listen.
