Since a young age Kalu discovered House Music when going out to nightclubs in Lisbon. He soon found his true passion – become a DJ.

He moved to the UK, 5 years ago, 2 years after he bought his equipment and records, and began to “play around”.

In 2006 he joined DJ Academy where he played for the first time to the british public on 4th of August at the party Reveal Yourself, at Fiesta Havana, Bristol.
Until now he has been only playing at clubs, private parties and gathering fans wherever he goes.

His diversified style goes from Progressive to Tribal, Electro and House Music. His influences are Dj Vibe, Dj Jiggy, XL Garcia and Danny Tenaglia, being the first three world wide known Portuguese DJs.
