"Betta Late Than Neva": I've been mentored by DJ's Jr Starr of Bham, Al.,DJ Don Johnson, DJ Thunderhassan, DJ Gaffle (ATL), LILBadazzDJE, DJ Joel Douglas (Destin, FL), various dj forums online & youtube for the past two years! After several podcasts (at djlovedeluxe.podomatic.com) and many 2 - 3 song practice sessions(up to Live DJLoveDeluxe Mix #34) lol.. I finally played my first gig at the Birmingham Art Walk at Second Row Studio in September , 2010. Check me on youtube. Ok, I was nervous as hell! It was an exhilarating experience though and my friends that showed up were presently surprised. Btw, Thanks again Thunderhassan! I've gotten great feedback about my first "live" demo mix as I am on my journey for more gigs (fashion shows, photography exhibits, ultra lounge opening slots,etc). DJ Controllers rock! You still gotta choose the songs that groove, beat match, work the faders, the eq's and effects. DJ'n is a beautiful challenge for me. It definitely requires time, work, skill and money.
