Bio

When I was just 13 years old, I was bitten hard by the DJ bug while watching the DJs spin at the local skating rink I frequented. So, I began mixing songs together using a 2-deck tape player. Once I got my first set of turntables and a mixer, the rest was history. I started making mix tapes for friends, DJing parties, and even selling a few bootleg breakbeat and freestyle tapes and CDs at local car stereo shops under various DJ names (I could never settle on one I liked). Eventually, my path in life led to other interests and DJing took a back seat, so I never really "made it". It's one of a few regrets in my life. Fast-forward 25 years and now, as a 40-something husband and father, the DJ bug has bitten me again. Call it a midlife crisis, but I love music and I love mixing, so it was only a matter of time before I'd circle back around to it. So, I'm hoping to share some old mixes, make some new ones, and see where things go.
