Bio

An innovative and creative DJ from Prince Edward Island, DJ Det0Nat3 first got the feel for the signature house beat in late 2007, when he discovered the powers of a midi controller and digital mixing software.
With his style touching a bit on the funky sound of Fatboy Slim and the hard hitting bass of Deadmau5, it's one you won't forget. He specializes in electro and fidget house genres but also enjoys playing funky and commercial house. However, he doesn't limit himself to these genres, and can also be heard playing progressive house or even dubstep.
Det0Nat3 plays regularly on a popular online station, VirtualDJ Radio. He has also played alongside DJ's including Sonny D, Nick BIke, Flycore and numerous others. As a co-founder of the organization DJPEI, he has helped in the planning of events and promotions including the local festival "E-Motion." He has also taken place in the "Battle of the DJ's" hosted at Club 1668 in Halifax.
Being a Techy, Det0Nat3 has a hobby of creating unique gear including; a custom skin for VirtualDJ, modified Numark Total Control Numark NS6, and custom Korg NanoPAD. He also uses custom mappings for each with VirtualDJ as his software/weapon of choice.
