Bio

Inspired by electronic music Detag began at an early age collecting vinyl and spinning records. Acid house and (Detroit) techno laid out the basis for his musical inspiration and appreciation for electronic and often more heavy beats.

In the late nineties he then also organized various techno and electro parties with the 'Martian Arts' collective. In 2001 Detag decided that electro should have a bigger platform and began organizing solid electro parties under his own name. On these 'ElectroStar' parties many familiar names from the electro scene where programmed and record labels like 'Bunker records' and 'Djax-Up-Beats' where therefore well represented. Even now Detag is sill organizing events where local djs and veterans can play and can keep the inspiration high.

After some co-productions with Star- Kid and Cancer Dogs and a release on Bunker records Detag has played at almost all of the well known venues within the region.

Today Detag is still spinning the wheels off steel and the man behind the 'Haagse Vinger Beats' events and co founder of 'The Hoax City' which is a local music platform where a lot off new releases en mixes can be found straight from the West Coast!!
