Wasn't Rocky 5 such an awesome movie??? I mean watching the "Great White Hopeless" Tommy Morrison trying to utter dialogue on the big screen made Mister T's "Clubber Lange" seem like Sir Laurence Olivier...lol. Well regardless of how you feel about what may have been the worst of the Rocky films, this song was pretty damn good.

Every now and then songs come along that become Hurricanes of the airwaves. And just as with the storm in nature, sometimes smaller tornadoes are spawned in its wake. Snap's "The Power" was one of those songs and "Go For It!" was one of those tracks it spawned.
Produced by MC Hammer, this was a pretty straight forward clone of "The Power", changed musically only enough to avoid possible litigation (only kidding). The standout element is the vocals by Mr Ellis. The original mix was OK, but once the Ultimix version was available that was my track of choice to play. Well here is my take on the original version PLUS my nod to the Ultimix edit along with my own touches.

Why did I do this song? I have no idea. I guess its just one of those songs that sticks with me like some awesome unshakeable musical virus. But in any event here it is....hopefully a few of you will get a kick out of it :)

And it bears mentioning that MC breeze himself (aka Joey B Ellis) places his seal of approval on this mix.

Edit Info:
Time: 5:37
BPM: 111
Intro: 32/32 Beats
Outro: 32/32 Beats
End: Cold
