dISCO House 4 DECKS 2.5 hrs 66 Trax-PAS 125 BPM
Almost 3 hours of disco with a lot of soul. All songs are played in full, no fade outs, but i run 3 to 4 songs at the same time, thats how i fit so many songs in such a relatively short mix. SO if you hear a song you like to get, then first search the song and listen to it solo, else you may need to search the next song in the list. Took about 2 weeks to puzzle all f these together as it can be a bit hard to play em in full without fading out. And i also did not turn mid or bass off completely as i like to suit em without fading things out. TO ME thats the challenge when mixing lately.
I try to avoid using 4 decks as 4 kicks layered distort a bit too much and then i can't play it on max volume on my JBL outside when sunbathing. Made some techno mixes that way and it just became a bit too violent. So will re mix them before uploading those mixes, and have limited myself to 3 decks running together. With small exceptions to keep the build-up going obviously as at times the 3 end at the same time or the body is needed to make a climax stronger.
Haven't uploaded much recently, but will up a bunch more in the near future. As far as i know we have a file size limit here on the uploads. So i think my 7 hour mix will be impossible to upload here. Do not know if we are allowed to add links in the description, so i wont link it. But search this on youtube and you will find my 7 hour mix in which i merged the first 6 parts of my Progressive Heaven mixes to give the listeners a 7 hour mix to have as playback tune for studying. I also see that many parts of my uploads seem to have gone off with the years. Do not know if there was a server error or if the site owners just remove some mixes over time to regain new disc space for new mixes and songs ?
IF someone from the team reads this, can you please explain in private message or fellow members, how this works ? I have all my mixes as back-up, so could re-up all missing parts if that be allowed. AND i could even up all the own made songs which i made over the years. That be 10 albums so about 170 songs i think. I never really uploaded many of my songs because i thought we had a limit on upload size on the housemixes upload hard disc. But my youtube was hacked and the hacker put his own channel on my page its channel ,put all my work on private. Then youtube removed my profile cos he had bad stuff on his channel. I have tried to get my 15 year old profile back, but have not been able to get direct contact with youtube to get my channel back. So i COULD upload all my songs here IF i would not put too much strain on the sites hard drive.
Just do not know how the site owners look at this ? I rather try to keep the whole collection of my mixes on my account, so listeners can find all parts. BUT with over a hundred mixes i DO understand that 1 dj then already starts to occupy many GB on the available drive space. SO IF you read this and know how the site deals with this then please let me know ! Then i know if it be wanted that i would upload all parts i no longer see online. AND if the site be interested in hosting many unreleased old house songs that i made over the years, so listeners can check them out here. I never advertised any of my songs so there won't be many that know how to find the songs, so bet they wont get played a lot for streaming. BUT they would take a lot of space on the drive, and that may be what the site owners try to reduce on at times by deleting uploads after some years.
