Here's a TALK FREE version of today's show to be followed by the live one once I have compressed the recording.  It appears the mike decided to lose its top end and die during today's show, so it's off to the shops before next weeks (Saturday 6th Oct) - EPIC 5 Hour ECLECTIC FESTIVAL AFTERNOON show from 1pm UK time via www.soullegendsradio.com

Hopefully I should be able to bring the vocal out a bit so everyone can hear their shouts and dedications and promise to get it sorted for next weeks MARATHON SESSION of the Strange Cargo Radio Show.

This weeks special edition took on a distinctly modern disco feel in the 2nd half
with International production talent Alkalino, Be sure to visit our
friends tab (via our BLOG) and the subsequent links inside to connect with him directly.

Today he showcased his latest DJ set but you can get access to all his
excellent Disco Edit tracks plus load of other mix-tapes via his Sound_cloud account
and Facebook (Both of which can be easily located by hitting the friends tab to the
left of the main page of our website.)

He certainly didn't disappoint in picking things up and getting us all up and dancing
following a particularly chilled (slightly more than) first half of the show and within
which Marky G, did his normal thing, playing warm up, surfing the genres to bring you
the very best of groove and chill and a few unexpected crate digging delights uncovered
along the way in his true "Adventures in Sound" style.

We had a bit of Old, New, Borrowed and Blues as we chilled in style in anticipation
of today's literally World Class Talent.

Full international posse in effect today as well as our well loved lil familia of
regulars who help to male the show such an enjoyable endeavor for the production team.

Today's featured artist was Moca with "So Funky", Balearic destination track was Heroes by
David Bowie PLUS 2 stops off to say High? to the Hippies.

As a special thank you to this rapidly expanding network of mellow fellows, Aging B.Boys,
Hippy Chicks, Weekender Girls & Soul boys the show will be followed next week with a little
treat. A FULL 5 Hours in  the mix with Adventures in Sound and within which he pledges to be
digging deeper than ever before on the show to reveal to you some of the secret weapons box
with a totally EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW of his 2013 "ECLECTIC AFTERNOON FESTIVAL SET", to bring you
Adventures in Sound as you have never experienced before.

This will be a show not to be missed and set to contain about 115 Stirling HEAVYWEIGHT portions
of some seriously smoking tuneage to sooth, chill, groove, astound, uplift and rock your socks quite literally
off during strategically placed GOOSEBUMP moments as he surfs genres right across the board from 80-180 BPM.

This will truly aim to be a magical musical journey of Epic proportions with only the finest elements
of rhythmical A BUMPER SELECTION for the regular listeners and an extra special thankyou for the support and love
felt at the studio week on week to date.  It literally has been a pleasure and next week, please
come prepared to be rocked, expect the unexpected and most of all, get ready to seriously get down,
this is gonna go off BIG-TIME!
