Emma Clair is an International DJ and Producer best known for playing Electro Swing / Vintage Beats / House & Nu Disco Emma Clair's creative sets fuse 4/4 beats and acapellas across the genres of Electro Swing, House and Nu Disco. Leading lady and creator of Manchester based Electro Swing club night Prohibition, Emma's love of music shines through in her DJ sets and events. Emma's Electro Swing sets join sounds from the 1920s with modern beats and bass, heavily influenced by house music. With toe tapping, booty shaking swing inspired rhythms, vocal samples and uplifting melodies! Come fetival season you can also expect to hear some ghetto funk and drum & bass creeping in! Full of energy and creativity, Emma always takes the dancefloor on a musical journey, with uplifting melodies, swing rhythms and cheeky vocal sample; music that will put a smile on your face! Nothing dull and nothing boring! Emma holds residencies at Gaucho and Impossible, 2 of Manchester's most exlusive venues; where she plays a mix of classy vocal house and nu disco ranging from chilled background beats to peak time dancefloor. She is also resident DJ for Manchester's best loved speakeasy bar The Fitzgerald where she brings vintage beats and Electro Swing. Emma learnt to mix on vinyl in 2006 inspired by the underground clubs in her home city of Manchester! In May 2008 she played her first public DJ set and since then, has gone on to become one of the most respected female DJs in the North West of England.
