Unearthed from the vaults in 2022 this mix takes us back to 2004 & another Back to Back session with none other then Buster The Party Pirate Patsy (AKA Matt L).
Opening the mix with Buster's couple of tracks, we started quite filthy & moved quite funky. A typical Ferris Vs Buster session as Buster tended to be Filthy Bass whilst I tended to be Funky Sax. Although on this mix I think I reframed from the Sax as best possible.
Took me a few hours to re-edit since initially was made for CD & when ripped to laptop the tracks split into 13 files but for some reason missed a second of music on each split, so needed to edit a sample & join for continuity.
The CD was labelled "Good Shit" for an album name, though figured might not work posting that on the Tinternet, so rebranded to "The Good Stuff" 😎
Used to enjoy those back to back sessions, great times.
My favourite track back then was Eric Prydz with Slammin'. Would enjoy building up the mix set down at Candystore nightclub until able to drop that one. Obviously had a good ear for music since Eric went on to become a massive artist with "Call On Me", "Proper Education"& "Pjanno" before forming part of Swedish House Mafia! Legend!
Think that sample vocal on the opening track is from Blow with Johnny Depp & Penélope Cruz... Great movie!
