Global Vortex provides a way for emerging artists, start-up record labels and promotion companies to network globally. We represent a new format for the global community. We provide a place to pull together true talent from the global IDM (internet digital music) community. We celebrate diversity and the uniqueness of music styles. While we are from many different places and speak many different languages, when it comes to music we speak as one. Today, instead of several major music labels that control everything, the music industry is fractured. Smaller labels control artists, most radio stations play only one type of music - DNB stations, House stations, etc. Yet music genres are mixing it up these days more than ever, and with no proper promotion, it's too easy for great music to disappear. And no matter how great, who listens to just one type of music anymore? Listeners are ready for what IDM provides - the ability to hear all types of music from around the world. Artists are ready for what IDM provides - the chance to mix it up and broadcast to a global audience. Our staff at global vortex is committed to the finest and purist mixes in the world, playing all types of music from around the world: Latin, Reggae, Synth Pop, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, House, Down-Tempo, Ambience, Bollywood, Classic House, Freestyle, etc - something for everyone. Many shows will have revolving DJs to get a fresh sound and many perspectives on the subject.
