First of all hello to all the music fans and artists out there who make the scene what it is.........Is It Washable hails from sheffield in the north of england a mecca for the origanal electronic sounds of the late 80s and 90s . Growing up around the sounds of electronica it was a given that he would fall in love with the genre.With a deep love for all that is electonique is it started is adventure in to the world of music. Every saturday he would go in to town to a little shop called warp records and spend is saved up school dinner money to buy the latest tunes of the time like nightmares on wax and mr fingers etc etc take them home and mix them together on some decks that didnt even have pitch control....The love grew and grew and after locking him self away after purchesing some sl1210s he emerged to land his first gig......Playing in and around sheffield through the 90s isit moved to london and fell in love with the scene even more landing a residency at the legendry 313 after 5 years it was time to move on and come back to sheffield and semi hang up the gloves..........But these days you can catch The Is It Washable show live on www.future-music.co.uk once a month playing deep dub techno to idm Catch me 8pm-10pm gmt Every 4th friday next show 2/3/12 then every 4th week..
