JayWorx, aka Yianni Athanasiou, was born in Sydney Australia at the beginning of the 70s where he spent most of his time listening to the radio and watching mobile Djs at birthday parties where he was fascinated by the power that the dj had over the dancefloor!
He moved to Rhodes Island Greece in 85 where he was introduced to the massive music scene Rhodes had to offer. Rhodes was the musical centre for most of Greece at the time. Catering the musical tastes for tourists from all over the world. Being overwhelmed by this it didnt take long for him to start Djing in some of the most prestigious bars and clubs. 27 years down the line you can find him with guest spots all over the UK and sponsorships from Pioneer. Djing at the infamous Faliraki resort, which is host for most of Englands serious clubbers. He was resident at Q Clubs good old days and then at the Millennium Club, which landed him along side some of Europes Premier League Djs. But be warned!! His sets usually include 3 turntables and 2 Pioneer CDJ1000s so dont get too close because you might get dizzy!!! Was at Radio1 Rodos & Rodos Radio DeeJay ,2 of the best dance radios in Greece as he was in charge of editing and International Affairs.
