Johnny Frenetic
Based in Scotland Johnny Frenetic is one of the countries most in-demand DJ’s with packed residencies and regular guest spots up and down the UK. His own Rise 'The Mash-up Party' club night, Sunday's at Opal Lounge in Edinburgh, has become one of the hottest night's in Edinburgh with regular sell-out crowds. In the last couple of years he has played across the globe in Dubai, Ibiza, The Cayman Islands and Warsaw, whilst on home turf has played to huge crowds at numerous festivals including T in the Park, Becks Fusions, V, Connect & Rockness and supported acts as diverse as Roger Sanchez, Snow Patrol, Elbow, Cassette Jam, DJ Dexter (The Avalanches), The Cut-up Boys, Josh Wink & Jazzy Jeff. As a producer / remixer he has also recently signed to the multi-million selling AV8 records NYC.
Johnny Frenetic's DJ style sees him blend a genre-splitting fusion of the finest in house, electro and club classics fused with up-tempo indie and urban anthems, Motown, pop, dubstep, his own original mash-ups, remixes and acapellas galore across three decks to create a bang-up-to-date vibrant, fun and exciting club sound.
