a world citizen. planes, tranes & automobiles! Go see the World………Do you know where my love of music comes from? My favorite songs and why? Answer: George Benson’s The Greatest Love of All. Simply because “If I fail if I succeed, at least I’ll live as I Believe.” Next, would be John Coltrane’s, “My Favorite Things.” Coletrane is my ultimate hero. He defied logic as a Tenor Saxophonist. Very deep and spiritual. His music is at times hard to listen to as many of his songs come out of nowhere whiles he’s performing. My Favorite Things is a classic; you probably know the words from the Sound of Music. His version is moving and very poetic. I always listen to it when I’m troubled or just want to feel better about anything. It’s so poignant. Finally there’s this group called “Loose Ends” and the song is “Slow Down.” The lyric that captivates me is, “Is this the part you take my heart to wipe your feet on.” As a young boy we always had music playing, Niece has always been a tremendous singer and imagine me always having to listen to what’s playing, because as the only boy, I had no say. So I learned to love music.
