Bio
Kian MC is a DJ/Producer of Deep/ Tech and Progressive House from Cork, Ireland. In 2001, he started Djing in bars and clubs around Cork and only a couple of years later in 2003 established himself as a resident in one of Cork Cities biggest nightclubs. Since then he has been entertaining the crowds in numerous Venues through the Country. His personal musical taste was majorly influenced by one of Cork's most memorable pirate stations in the late 90's, Radio Friendly. Radio Friendly provided Corkonian's with music from the "Underground" DJs of Cork, some from the infamous Sir Henry's nightclub at the time and its DJs included Stevie G and Greg & Shane of Fish Go Deep. In 2009 he started to take an interest in producing and wanted to create his own music. His first single in 2010 entitled 'Make you Move' which was produced by John Burke saw him laying down the main vocals along with Sinead Collins. "It was a fun track to do; I gained a lot of experience in the process in making this track" It wasn't until early 2011 that he released his first Ep called 'Let it show' which was written and produced by himself and was released on his own label Kobo records. It contains tracks with a groovy uplifting synth stab sound and features a live sax recorded by one of Corks talented saxophonist Rachel Clancy. It has received positive reviews from a lot of people including Greg Dowling from Fish Go Deep. Currently in the studio producing a new single with BMG called 'Its Begun' which is due for release at the end of 2011. Also just finished his new single 'You Took my Love' which is due for release very soon. In 2012, Kian hopes to develop his label to promote Irish house music producers and expand his club night 'Deep inside Sessions'. He also has plans to release another EP
