Bio
The Funk. He came from outer space and is about the size of a medicine ball.
My house music journey. It started, as it often does, pretty commercially. It then headed into the dizzy, euphoric heights of trance; eighteen years old and stomping the ;boards of Passion with my ;arms outstretched to Ferry Corsten. I detoured ;sharply into ambient, found my way via electro towards the glorious shores of the White Isle, briefly experienced hard house in all its glory and eventually settled on the funky plains of techno, tech house and minimal; won over by a groove that I never wanted ;to end. ;I like to think I've kept, and continue to utilise, fragments of my journey, not forgetting the years of fronting an indie band in London and working as a promoter for indie/electro nights in ;the capital. It's always been about music. Deep down, it's always been about house music. That isn't likely to change. ;
"We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance." Japanese proverb.
"The Manyana Sessions" is representative of an embryonic idea shared by 3 like ;minded, up and coming ;house DJ's to create a fresh and beautiful music event. Manyana. Whose house? Our house. ; ; ;
