Martin LefteriMartin has been DJing since the early 90s and collecting records since his early teens. Whilst he was an enthusiastic participant in the heady acid house explosion in Brighton and London, when it came to taking to the decks he eschewed the mainstream four to the floor sound for a backroom style of funk, hip hop, electronic and balearic beats. Since then his sound has got both wider ranging and more focussed, taking in exotic & deep disco, slow house and anything else from the last 40 years of leftfield music with a worthy groove. He can be found playing anywhere from the smaller rooms of large nightclubs to railway arches and smoky basement shebeens. Martin also produces music and plays intruments in new band project The Carthaginians as well as running the bespoke edits label 'Retouched Records'
