Dang! I should have uploaded this last night as it's a perfect mix for Hallowe'en! Anyhoo ... I suddenly had an inexplicable yen to listen to some 1990s Big Room music. The sound that kept going round my head was "Nightmare", the Sinister Strings mix by Brainbug. I wanted to make a mix that caught that whole symphonic feel of that over-the-top house music of the mid-90s. The Tin Tin Out track "Strings for Yasmin capures that same atmosphere, so in that went. Just needed some Future Sound of London and a bit of "Insomnia" and we're almost there. Ah, yes - I know what's missing. "Barbarella" by Barbarella, actually the first release of Sven Vath's label Harthouse back in the day (1992)
