About the BRASS CHALET: Ron’s Dollar and Furniture Store, on the corner of 47th Street and South Campbell Avenue, is all that remains at the location that once housed one of Chicago’s hidden gems the BRASS CHALET NIGHTCLUB. The Brass Chalet, although considered by some as a dive club, had within its walls some of Chicago’s best Southside DJ’s who mixed the best of ‘House Music’ and ‘High NRG’ Dance Music that the 1990’s had to offer. The dance floor was never empty and both Friday and Saturday nights were packed with a great mix of Party People who came to get tipsy, dance the night away, and if you were lucky, find someone to take home with you. ; )
