First, I *really* appreciate the opportunity to download mixes by those of you kind enought to share. Having grown up in the "Classic Disco" era, and having spent time at classic clubs as diverse as "Studio 54" in NYC, the hugely popular and creative "Flashback" in Edmonton, Alberta... yes, Edmonton - it just seems to be in my blood, my gut and my mind that a great set is a mindset in and of itself. Besides, at times, music makes me wanna fuck as well as funk :{) So, I appreciate the craft and the emotional investment. This all requires some instinct and some intellect as well. I work in sound for theatre, audio for television, as well as visual arts, editing on my Macs, etc. But, never did have the brains for mixing, so I leave that up to you fine people. And I thank you once again :{) Patrick.
