From Kraftwerk to Yellow Magic Orchestra in the late 70's to anything that is remixed, mashup and just sounds different from main stream music I will probably be listening out for it. Early day's would make mixes using cassettes to later vinyl mixing with 2 normal turntables and a Radioshack 4 channel mixer. The lack of radio stations even back in the early 90's that played club style music in Sydney Australia was limited to 1 and they only ran shows very late at night. Later, community radio stations started testing dedicated to dance music only programs so threw support to help save them. Politics as usual gets in the way and would not be granted a full time license so some 5 stations faded away. This is why I enjoy Live streaming as I can support people making a go of doing what they are passionate about.
